My Computer is Fucked

So whenever I start my computer it freezes at the welcome screen 9 out of 10 times. If I'm lucky enough to get passed the welcome screen it'll freeze a minute later. It works fine in safe mode, but that's it. This morning I ran a driver booster program and defragged my harddrive and it's been like this ever since. I cant run a system restore because it says there isnt any restore points.

Any ideas of what I can do?

My colleague had this problem, and her problem was solved after changing the hard drive (I think it was that)

Im transferring all of my important stuff to an sd card and then I'm gonna format the whole thing. Hopefully that works. Will Windows 7 automatically reinstall? I dont have the install disc.

If you don't have a disc than it probably won't, with Microsoft's liscencing agreements they are only good for one device. Certainly van get a bootleg copy, in which you might as well get 8.
Have you fucked around in BIOS? trying to get some restore points? If it starts up in safe mode you may have some malware/trojan though.

Didn't have any restore points either, formatted it, worked for a month and then the same thing happened.

Have you tried hitting the back of your screen repeatedly until it makes a clicking noise?
