Run-ins with the law continue to pile up for DMX. The Yonkers bred rapper was cited for carrying a concealed handgun outside a nightclub in Scottsdale, AZ on Friday (June 16).
According to The Arizona Republic, X (Born Earl Simmons) was stopped by authorities after they saw him remove his gun from a holster and place it beneath the front seat of his 1964 Chevrolet convertible.
"He had the (convertible) top down, the cops were right in the area, and they saw him take out the gun and put it under the front seat," Scottsdale Police Detective Sam Bailey told The Republic.
DMX was then cited for a misdemeanor weapons violation for not having a permit to conceal the weapon beneath the car seat. He was not arrested.
In the past two months, DMX has been arrested for disrupting a flight and has been ticketed for two different violations including driving unsafely without a license and causing an accident by driving on the shoulder of a road.
In related news, X is currently gearing up for the release of his sixth album, Year of the Dog, Again. The album is slated to hit shelves on August 1st via Sony Urban Music.
He will also be the main focus of a reality show titled "DMX: Soul of a Man," which will premiere on BET in July.
