Most nostalgic album for you?

Postby Mr Evil » Jun 28th, '14, 02:40

Simple Question. For me it's either Encore or Curtain Call. Believe it or not it was When I'm gone that really got me into Em. I bought Encore in late '05 and loved it (wtf I know right) and a few weeks later bought Curtain Call which really made me want to buy all his albums.
I really have a soft spot for Encore just because of its nostalgic value. Reminds me of good old times playing the PS2

For some reason it's Recovery. It's not my favorite or even near it, but whenever I listen to songs from that album, I get taken back to 2010 when I used to ride the bus to work and then back home at night everyday, while listening to Recovery (amongst other albums/songs). The nostalgic feeling pops up everytime I hear a Recovery song.

I'm 19 as well. My mum was really worried about buying me Curtain Call because of track #2 - Fack. I assured her it wouldn't be anything rude ..... And ..well....

MMLP probably. It was album that got me into Em, as well as the first one I actually listened to, and when I was in middle school I would listen to a couple of the tracks in particular when my parents or other kids pissed me off. I thought I was really ~edgy and cool back then. :smoking:

All you can do it handle it, worst thing you can do is panic
Use it to your advantage, avoid insanity manage
To conquer, every obstacle, make impossible possible
Even when winning illogical, losing is still far from optional.." -T.I.
