I felt like a cheeseburger and some gelato, so i stopped at this restaurant, ordered a cheeseburger and a pound of gelato, my parents kill me if i only brought for myself... anyway as i am waiting for my food, a woman walks by me, a 40-something year old ugly as shit woman, and if you know me you'd know i really don't care about such things but this woman was trying to look 18, she had jean shorts on, tight ones, a tanktop with her silicone breasts fighting to stay in, ugly blowfish lips and neon orange something fucking disgusting nail polish and she gave DA! the come-hither look almost and i did a face, she walked out the place, i turned and i was previously chatting the cashier who took my order, gorgeous brunette girl, so i don't know i just said 'she is scary' and she said 'scary good or scary bad?' and i said ' is there any scary good? she is scary disgusting' and she then said 'that is my mother' and my face turned fucking black, i was very embarrassed so i didnt know what to do to remedy the situation so i told her that she is way prettier than her mom

so, a cringe moment

hahaha

Everyone's embarrassed to read this, embarrassed to hear that. Cringing at this song, groaning at that joke. That song was just embarrassing.

Most of the people who say this are too pussy to ever try to do anything outside-the-box or unorthodox, because heaven forbid someone else like them might cringe at it or find it embarrassing. Not just artistically, but when it comes to their life choices in general.

They'll enrol in the least embarrassing degree, pick the least embarrassing career path and the least embarrassing clothes to wear. The least embarrassing, and the most boring.

And yeah, I'm aware I've called plenty of things "embarrassing" before. lol

And that basically leaves nothing for them to do, other than sit around on their iphone texting and playing Angry Birds and calling things, "cringe" or "cringy" (not a word, but nobody cares about what is and isn't a word anymore).

Two reasons I can see for it:

1. It's a product of the iphone generation, and people forgot what normal social interaction was like. You can't say, "LOL" or post a meme in real life, so sarcasm and deadpan sail over most people's heads, and when they see it in a video on the internet, it makes them uncomfortable.

2. It's a product of modern feminism, which was generated from the internet. For some reason, internet hipsters gravitated towards radical feminism...perhaps at first out of a need for "irony," and then forgetting what's sincere and what's tongue-in-cheek in their eyes along the way. Radical feminism teaches everyone that nearly everything in life is creepy, "stalkery," and is going to RAPE you. Everything. After all, we do live in a "rape culture," right?

You've spent a considerable number of posts on this message board trying to put others down for being uncool in real life and talking about how you're really cool in real life. This is how insecure people behave.

If "really cool guy" is the image you're trying to portray, having 7.02 posts per day on an Eminem message board (and over 13,800 posts) isn't really helping.
