I dunno. His older songs and albums were awesome, when he was in his prime. Obviously it's been, what, 14 years? You can't expect him to stay on that level forever, plus he's gone through a lot and completely changed as a person.

I think, noticeably, his flow and delivery are a lot worse than what they were in his prime. But I don't know if it's just like that, or if he's trying to change it up because in Rap God he has some sweet delivery and flow. He also has more corny lines than he used to, especially the punchlines. And I don't think the production he's jumping on is as good as it used to be, although there are still some cool beats he's on.

At the end of the day, I don't know why some people won't listen or like him because he's not as good as he was in 2002. To me, you know, I listen to the MMLP2 knowing it won't be as good as the original or any of his 1999-2003 stuff, and I can still enjoy it for what it is.

What i don't get, is Silver rates Recovery, but MMLP2 is objectively a step up (skill wise) and it sounds more like Em than Recovery does.. I'm sleep doe :shrug:
