Good point, but I think if he did release Rap God then, it would have been viewed as a better song, because of the songs around it. Just like Drips was viewed so highly even with Obie's verse, which was just about average.

Unless I took that guy completely wrong haha

Nostalgia can affect everything
a lot of people thinking Eminems technical ability or skillz (RG 3rd Verse) were higher in 02 than they are today .
