Yeah...uh...the reason you even thought of that (and still got it wrong) is it's virtually the only time he ever did it in his prime. Moreover, that was a word split...not a phrase carry over.
It was egregious in the 2nd verse of So Far, period, the end.
You dont recall the posts about exist-ed? Among the others. I know the difference between the splitting of words and the splitting of phrases. I wasnt making a reference to the criticism of So far...
I think the issue with "exis...ted" is that the entire series was structured that way. Nit....wit. Forget....it. It was advertising he was only rhyming 2 syllables at a time in that series (at least at the end of lines). To many (including me), it seemed like a bad choice of delivery. The delivery sounded tongue-in-cheek, or like it was done with a sense of detachment.
The line in "Who Knew" was Eminem separating the syllables of "teacher" to emphasize the rhyme - Christopher Reeves/pissed at a teach (something I'm generally against, but once in a blue moon isn't such a big deal).
