You mean "pissed at a teach/Er?"

Yeah...uh...the reason you even thought of that (and still got it wrong) is it's virtually the only time he ever did it in his prime. Moreover, that was a word split...not a phrase carry over.

It was egregious in the 2nd verse of So Far, period, the end.

You dont recall the posts about exist-ed? Among the others. I know the difference between the splitting of words and the splitting of phrases. I wasnt making a reference to the criticism of So far...

I think the issue with "exis...ted" is that the entire series was structured that way. Nit....wit. Forget....it. It was advertising he was only rhyming 2 syllables at a time in that series (at least at the end of lines). To many (including me), it seemed like a bad choice of delivery. The delivery sounded tongue-in-cheek, or like it was done with a sense of detachment.

The line in "Who Knew" was Eminem separating the syllables of "teacher" to emphasize the rhyme - Christopher Reeves/pissed at a teach (something I'm generally against, but once in a blue moon isn't such a big deal).

@Emineminsider

Yeah I get that, my whole issue was that, that was as far as the argument extended, (just the mere splitting of the word being the problem). I dont think thats necessarily bad or what was inherently wrong with the lines people took issue with. But i definitely see what you mean with the "existed" scheme. On a side note, the word that actually bothers me in that whole scheme is "nitwit" lol. I think I understand you though :y: Also I dont think anything is actually wrong with the teacher line from who knew, I was just attempting to use it to illustrate a point.

Even when winning illogical, losing is still far from optional.." -T.I.

Singin' "Bagpipes from Baghdad" again
In my dad's drag draggin' a faggot in a Glad bag
Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again
You thought I was lyin' when I said I think that I'm crossin' the line again
I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line
Forgive me father, for I have sinned
But hip hop has left me brainwashed with a violent streak
