Second one is pretty awesome
Cause I can’t explain to y’all how dang exhausted my legs felt, just having to balance my dang self but on eggshells I was made to walk but thank you, ma, ‘cause that gave me the strength to cause Shady-mania

The first cover is crap. I get what they were trying to convey but it just turned out bland.
Second one is ace

Second one. Although I do like both.

Singin' "Bagpipes from Baghdad" again
In my dad's drag draggin' a faggot in a Glad bag
Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again
You thought I was lyin' when I said I think that I'm crossin' the line again
I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line
Forgive me father, for I have sinned
But hip hop has left me brainwashed with a violent streak

Jaba wrote:@Himshadow good try with this thread. Me, you, and Kkannif have tried this so many times. But members always go off-topic or try to compare it to another album. And then it turns into Recovery hating thread or hate on Recovery appreciators thread. PM me and maybe me u and Kkaniff could have a skype chat and discuss our likings of some albums that always get shitted on, on this site.

I would like to do that but theres one problem, my English would make our conversation slow as fuck haha

Edit: sorry for double post

We can just type. Like on here :P

I like individual songs but not fond of the whole project. I think the idea and concept behind a Recovery album was genius but it's execution was quite poor imo.

I've just bumped this for the first time in donkeys, and i really fucking enjoyed it, like i did when it first came out, before i started listening to the chatter against it and being swayed by it (not very alpha of me). Punchlines didn't bother me at all, every track was enjoyable. Good fucking album :b:

Both are great covers.

I prefer the second one though, I just love the whole metaphorical "Em is living in a box" kinda thing. It's genius.
