Depression is no joke and Robin Williams proves here that people need to take depression more serious, when your friend, or somebody in your family is going thru depression, don't just ignore it or blow it off thinking they will get thru it just fine.

chances are this is not the 1st time Robin tried suicide, with Depression those thoughts are always there, they linger around much more than the thought of sex, they say men think of sex every 20 seconds but with depression, replace sex with suicidle thoughts, and it's not easy getting thru it.

don't worry menzo i'm not going to throw in an "Atone story" here, although, in this case i have alo0t of deep dark shit from my past i could bring up but i won't, for the simple reason that i've never even told any of my closest friends, but, i will say this, if you know somebody who is fighting depression, help them, be there for them, the reason i'm still here today is because 1 friend was there for me when i really needed somebody, i won't go into detail but, if it wasn;t for her, by the end of that week i would not have been around any longer, but because she stayed by my side one night and spoke to me, and helped me, it made me realize somebody did care, it helped me alot, all i am saying is, don't just ignore ppl with depression, give them a hand.

Like Atone said, depression (or any mental illness for that matter) is no joke, and it's also nothing to be ashamed of. If you think you have a problem, SEEK HELP.
