don't forget that he's a Rap God (sent on earth by Tupac), when you'll die he might not forgive you this and send you to hell where you'll be tortured with Drake and Gayne songs

that's a good motivation I guess

Because MMLP2 has ''Rap God'', ''Brainless'', ''Rhyme Or Reason'', ''So Far'' and ''Evil Twin''.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

Raul wrote:Nothing wrong in disliking Recovery since it is a really odd album. Doesn't has the Eminem feeling imo. His voice is awful on most of the songs and the production is bad on half of the album. It has some highs but overall it's a mediocre album.

But... MMLP2 is REALLY a step up from Recovery. His delivery improved a lot, his punchlines too. And the production (even if it's not top notch) is a lot better than on Recovery.

And MMLP2 has fantastic songs like Bad Guy, Rhyme or Reason, Headlights, Brainless, Berzerk and much more. It's just so good and it has the Eminem feeling that Recovery was missing.

maybe I just didn't listen to MMLP2 enough , Bad Guy is okay and Brainless too but I really dislike Rhyme or Reason and Headlights they sound nothing like Em song

the CD2 of MMLP2 is okay but dunno

also good to see some people are open to discussion in opinions that differ theirs, unlike to most people here who just respond like little kids

I really don't know how anyone can think his last album is worse than ''Recovery''.

I didn't say its vastly superior, they are both really bad by my standards but if I had to choose what to listen to between those two I'd probably choose Recovery

my advice: try to listen to MMLP2 again and try to notice (by comparing), at least, the improvement in the beats and lyrics/delivery/flow. And MMLP2 has a lot of different themes and Em had so much to talk about (in Recovery I felt that the subject matter was almost the same in every song). And it seems he's having fun in rap again.

yo, Evil Twin, So Much Better and some songs of the CD2 are great too.

Interesting... I would think MMLP 2 would be much preferred over Recovery particularly because you solely like his older more "Eminem" sounding albums. The first time I heard MMLP 2, the first couple songs (Bad Guy and Rhyme or Reason) irked me just a bit because I was expecting his older voice too tbh (Parking Lot skit sounded great however as far as his voice goes) but then as the album went on the voice grew on me and I could tell that the content was spot on and that his delivery and vocal presence and humor was so much smoother and atmospheric than Recovery that I fell in love with the album not too far in. So, I'd say let the voice grow on you. I personally was expecting his higher nasally voice on my first listen but the lyrics and flow make up for it, and his voice isn't bad at all actually, it's a huge step up from Recovery imo.

People join all the time; they just don't bother posting after one or two posts.
