The man that drove D12 MC Proof to the hospital in April, was found dead late last month.
Police told the Detroit Free Press that Gerald Rosic Gadie drove Proof to a hospital on April 11, where he was announced dead on arrival.
A month later on May 27, police found Gadie in the basement of his northeast Detroit home shot to death. Authorities believe that Gadie had been killed in an alleged dispute over 20 pounds of marijuana and a stolen $7,000.
John Henry Williams II and Corey Frazier were the two Detroit men arraigned on Sunday (June 18) on charges of first-degree murder and the possession of a firearm.
Both men will be held without bond, pending the results of a June 30 preliminary examination.
