People are making an argument saying that the cold water could go to countries like Africa, some people don't support the ice bucket challenge.

People are so stupid.. Where do they think the water goes when tipped out? Into the ground and lost forever???
It evaporates, then rains, then evaporates, then rains... And it has been that way for billions of years before Human existence and will continue for billions of years after our extinction.

People also complain that the ALS mob do a lot of animal testing. I guess rat welfare really is that important to some people

There's a purpose behind it, it's not just random. I usually disagree with these trendy things but this has united people around the world for a good cause.

I have to add that the thing initially was donate OR do the bucket thing.

I hope the celebrities who are doing the challenge are also donating (which probably is what they are doing). Would be sad if they do the bucket thing just to figure out because at this point most celebrities have done this. Even Spanish ones, and I doubt they are donating anything.

I was not aware of the donation part of this, because, well... everyone I see on facebook making it don't mention any illness or donation what so ever... so as far as raising awareness, till I posted it on the forum I had no idea.
So you can understand my confusion.
