Why did Eminem induct Run-DMC?

Why did Run-DMC allow Eminem to induct them? why not Kid Rock?

If Run DMC had any heavy influence over anybody it would be Kid Rock, look at his 1st album, he sampled Run DMC on 2 different songs (Yo-da-lin-In-Da-Valley, and Super RHyme Maker) and you could hear the heavy influence from RUN-DMC in his music

Eminem never even mentioned Run-DMC until MMLP2 era

Also, Kid Rock and Rev Run are friends, Rock's been to Run's house a few times, been on his show, cool with Run's kids, they actually have a connection

Lol no it would not, you do realize Kid Rock toured with Run DMC BEFORE the death of Jam Master Jay? Kid Rock and Run DMC have been cool for years, on your, each others houses, hangin with each others kids, Run DMC have respect for Kid Rock
