I'm sure, often as he can, he skims through all them bitches so he can keep up with his competition.
I think Em, as a human being, looks at albums differently than we do. So, he doesn't just rate them based on how good they are but also based on how good his life was at the time. So, I'm sure Recovery and MMLP2 rank higher on his own list than any of his fans would rate them.

in complex last year he said he doesn't listen to mmlp etc but only stays familiar with the tracks by performing them in concert

I don't think he's said TES is his favourite. I feel that he's just most proud of that one, but he doesn't think it's his best. I think his list is MMLP, TES, Recovery, MMLP 2, Infinite, Encore, Relapse.

I really dont think hed put Encore over Relapse nor Recovery over MMLP2.
