It does to me. But that "and to think i was gone" makes me think like, he was going through this but then when he says that last part he has pulled himself out of the dumps once again.

Delivery's kind of off-putting at times, but everything else is great.

Ever since BP I've enjoyed Sia's voice, it's just got this cool sound to it that sets her apart from the Rihannas and Katy Perrys of the world.

And content-wise Em's saying some heavy shit on this.

Em is just tired of people who are thinking they know better what Em is doing than he himself, he just wanted you to finally pay attenuation to what he really has to say of.

This song was good enough to bring me out from my lurker cave. While the song definitely has the "retirement" feel and he uses the line "When I'm Gone" at the end of the song I just don't think this is it for him. In his previous farewell songs it always felt like a result of Em not being able to know if he could stand the life anymore; he was always one step away from breaking down y'know? At this point in his career he has a handle on it and I think when he's ready to bow out he'll say so outright. He always seems prepared to end his career with a bang and I don't think at this point he would end it with a somber note.

Honestly my money is on the final track of an album being "A lot of people ask me when the fuck I'm gonna retire" or something like that.
