Encore is only hated and looked down upon because prior to it Eminem had just released 3 classics, two of which are considered to be some of the greatest albums of all time. Encore has 3 bad songs (Big Weenie, Ass Like That, Just Lose It). My First Single and Rain Man were average, and every other song ranges from good to great.

MMLP2 was forced, has awkward flows, terrible lyrics, and is over just an average album. The only songs I like from it are Brainless, Evil Twin, and all the bonus disc songs.

How can you think the lyrics on Encore are good and then "terrible" on MMLP2. I cant find any conceivable way where someone can sit and hear both albums and come to that conclusion. But whatever I dont think this thread is for debate lol. You like what you like I guess.

Lol never said Encore had good lyrics, most are worse than MMLP2.

Anyways, with My First Single, the flow is unfuckingtouchable. With Rain Man, it is the only genuinly funny song of the 'funny' songs on Encore. "Dre wake up"

MMLP2's bonus disk had some fucking great songs. Evil Twin, Brainless, Asshole, and So Much Better were the only songs on the album with good lyrics, but So Much Better is just terrible delivery wise. Asshole has terrible production, even though it has lyrics on par with his glory days.

My First Single had a fucking shit flow. Rain Man was Em fucking around the studio while high on drugs. It wasn't genuinely funny, it was pathetic and sad.

Are you telling me Desperation had better writing than Bad Guy, Rap God, So Far, The Monster, Rhyme Or Reason, or literally anyfuckingthing else on MMLP2 (with the possible exception of Survival and Stronger Than I Was)? The linesplitting was so fucking horrible.

Encore-Despite some decent songs(never enough, ybr, toy soldiers, spend some time, encore/curtains down) the rest of the album is either below average or terrible
Recovery-horrible delivery/flow on most songs but nothing encore bad and the best on recovery> best on encore
Relapse- Underrated by alot of people and possibly still by me. However it still has lowpoints(BFB, We Made You, Old Times Sake, Crack a Bottle) but also has some sick songs(3AM, SS&D, Stay Wide Awake, Deja Vu, My Darling, Music Box) and everything else is solid.
MMLP2- Return to form almost everything is great but Survival, Bezerk, STIW, Monster bring it down despite being ok tracks
SSLP-Great album but the voice and a couple songs like Cum on Everybody, My Fault (still love this song) prevent it from being better than the top 2.
Eminem Show- Shows maturity/growth as an artist and is probably his most listenable album.HOWEVER filler like Say What You Say, and Drips prevent it from being his best
MMLP- Holy Shit!!! Kill You, Stan, Who Knew, Way I am, Im Back, Marshall Mathers, Drug Ballad, Criminal all GOAT. And the other songs are better than many albums top tracks.

Agree with this except I find Encore in between MMLP2 and Relapse.

Excuse me for asking but why would you ever say that encore is better than MMLP2. I even love some of the tracks on there but can never view it better than MMLP2
