Fuck no! Shit in every past relationship (3, and these were serious.. at least to me), I've been cheated on. Cheated on Christmas AND New Years. That shit hurts. And you can spend days sometimes even weeks/months dwelling on what went wrong. Not to mention it can tank your self-esteem like never before. I've never cheated and never ever will. If you're so unsatisfied, you can either confront your partner about it and come to a resolution, or leave. That simple.

In my experiences through friends and family, it's pretty much 50/50. A lot of females will cheat if they feel neglected and same with the males.

Me personally? No. It's a battle for me to even 'like' someone so throwing that away would be dumb.

I don't like the idea of a relationship behind someone's back, or multiple partners.

You hear some people have a whole othe family in another city or state - I think that's a bit fucked up.

A one nigh stand, or a strong of one night stands over the course of a relationship is a lot different.

if the thought-experiment was set up by definition to make sure the other person never found out, and they are both happy it's hard to see what's wrong with it.

altho, i kinda think honesty - in anything - is fundamental (even tho i don't really practice, as i've lied about millions of things), but when i try to be intellectually honest, i think dishonesty is inherently bad.

yea, so i think people shouldn't cheat, or if they do they should own up.

but it'd be hard to do that if they were extremely unlikely to find out, and it didn't seem to affect how u felt about the relationship. cos it seems like it doesn't matter.
