yeah "love those who curse you" or "turn the other cheek" are both in the bible. They are weird to most people but they make you better people by not holding grudges or being angry all the time. It doesn't mean to let people walk over you though.

Blah, I don't believe in god. But I'm not anti-god. If people want to believe in somthing, some people just need that hope. I'm not going to try taking that away. Christians shouldn't even care. 70% of the world is Christian, I don't see how they can complain about shit.

If u dont believe in afterlife, theres nothing to be stressed up about.

The funny this is, that all "believers" believe their shitty ass books and then if u ask each one of them they all belive different things and believe they are right. Its like facing a muslim beliver and a christian .... who would be right in that situation?

Religion is WRONG, untill u figure out at least a centralised religion, till then u are a bunch of hypocrits that are afraid of death.

Well not in the US, I meant. My point is that they complain about opression and blah blah when they are the dominant religion...

this "debate" is dumb. your argument is about a whole bunch of stereotypes of peoples' faith and what they believe.. everyone can believe what they want...you yourself are believing in something. it may be that there is no god.. but still... that's what you believe. so everyone can believe what they believe..

Religion - mindless worship, propoganda, books, forced views.
Belief - your personal belief it urs and yours alone, no need to propogandise ur view, wich promotes de-valuing human life.

The video tackles religion and religion only, not belief. As long as idolozed books and mythic beings are involved that presented as "fact" - its religion, coz they get u in a catch 22, that if u dont, ull perish.

This debate is not dumb its pretty important actually. Stereotypes are unavoidable, if there is a book that involves everlasting life, there will always be one or two morons that will blow themselves up hoping to get to heaven. And there will always be a nation "under god" that will pilage countries of muslim orignins.

then.. your statement about how there are so many different ones is so obvious that i don't feel like explaining it... so you should try looking up the history of religion on the internet.

There are thousands of religions and each religious person believs the book that is claimed to be "holy"to their culture. All them books are written by people, changed by people, and idolized by people.

hmm.. i see now why you always have so much anger...

Anger?

i don't idolize a book... i look to the book for guidance, because as it is written in the bible, no one or thing should be idolized. the same as a textbook... it guides me through life.

Good.

my country has nothing to do with my religion.. and that's where you might should try to seperate things. that's also where my country was supposed to seperate things, but i can see how they don't since our country was somewhat founded for religious purposes.

Wen u tell soldiers that they will go to heaven wen they die, they will be more willing to go to war coz of that "afterlife" hope. Just look at history, most agressive countries are most religious.

i don't see my preacher teaching me to not drink alcohol.. to not worry about what other people say.. to do the right thing.. to put all my troubles in the hands of god to take care of... i don't see that as propaganda at all....

Thats all a good mans nature, any decent person should tell u that, except the "in the hands of god" should be taken out of context.

yeah.. you're always very depressed sounding...

I strongly belive in my views, and i love me a good arguement or debate.
I been through enough shit in my life to not be "depressive" in what i write or say, i just say it openly and how i mean it.

so if i don't believe in death i don't have to be stressed about it, that's a nice philosophy

Allah may mean "God" but the christian and muslim god is very different so that is a bad comparison

I am a christian and I am not afraid to die, why is it that you think that religious people are all hypocrites. Stop basing your beliefs on stereotypes

Religion- death and degeneracy in society, it will be a cover for war, it will be manupulating goverments.

Allah may mean "God" but the christian and muslim god is very different so that is a bad comparison

So how can both the quaran and the bible be right? My comparison is very on point since im claiming that having more than one religion is hypocritic and that one relgion telling the other that its wrong is completely bizzare.

Its not a stereotype. People cannot decide wich religion is right and wat book is true, so if there are 5 religions then 4/5 of these religions are false and hypocritic.

I agree that war and religion have been going side to side and I think that's wrong. I also think that's not how religion is supposed to be. What i believe is not like that. I am strongly against war and God wouldn't be for it neither.

Allah may mean "God" but the christian and muslim god is very different so that is a bad comparison

I never said both of them were right, i said the gods are different.

Yes they can because their is a such thing as right and wrong. Peoples concepts of that may be different but there has to be some ultimate say, that's why certain things in the Bible agree with laws in modern society.

So u dont acknowledge the bible as a factual document?

Right and wrong is a pact created long before the bibles, it was here in the days wen our ancestors, first came the laws and the basic commune survival standarts than came the bible.
