I'm not sure. Looking at the way Taylor was everywhere during the last month -- talk shows, performances. And never out of the public eye -- there is some photo somewhere of her shopping or whatever. I think if Em did the same (at least a month before the album), it would be as big. His fanbase is every bit as solid as Taylor's, I believe. Moreover, Taylor's stuff is selling for 99 cents on the Microsoft app, but will be counted towards her sales because Microsoft paid full price for it. It won't be hard for Em to get that kind of deal. #newrules.

To bad eminem never doing those numbers anymore. 790,000 is not bad considering eminem does no promotion any more really for his albums like he used with tours and so on. and interscope does not promotion ether.

The only time i see him doing a million again is

1. Album is marketed as his final solo album
2. He dies (Sad to say but it always happens when they die they sell more and will be called a legend look at 2PAC and MJ he sold more after his death)

okay, reading through this thread it appears that not many of you are aware that any time someone does these numbers these days it's because over half of those sales are them buying their own inventory for the sake of numbers.
