Yet a lot of people seem to dig Em's verse so I'm assuming it must be enjoyable in some way, but I love hip hop and it's always been about the rhythm.

These times it often seems like Em is not rapping according to the beat. Like he doesn't care and just wants to show how fast and technical he can rap. Like on this slaughterhouse freestyle when he asked the DJ to cut the beat and did his thing a capella.

I mean even in the Cypher. I find it awesome but he's basically always doing the same thing: I rap super super fast and I get angrier and angrier and at the end I SCREAM.

It's the fact that he's trying to pack as many syllables as possible into one bar and actually do double time over such a beat. It doesn't fit

I didn't care about Twerk that since it was a feature and Calm down was completely different and dope.

It clearly doesn't fit. I'm glad some people agree with this. I mean I'm always defending Em and I consider him the greatest but still: this sucks. The other ones killed it though. The beat was perfect for some old school Em

Em is a fucking show off. When you think about it, it's pretty obvious he tried to stand out among the other artists featured. Just like the Cxvpher. Except the Cxvpher was a win

Just hope we won't get that throughout the whole album.
