I have to be honest - I like both. But I liked the randomness of the Slim Shady rhymes. He came out with some wild shit, but the 'Eminem' of today seems a bit too political and predictable.

Fugees and Mobb Deep tryin' to diss now too huh? Hahaha! Well, I ain't prejudiced, I don't give a fuck! This is what it sounds like - when we ride on our enemies... Tupac Shakur - 'When We Ride On Our Enemies' from 'BETTER DAYZ'

i think 'predictable' is the wrong, he might give the slim shady sound anymore ( i like both too), but some of the stuff he comes out is still unexpected, especially with songs like Rainman. And i will not stop saying this but i think Encore was actually UNDER-rated! It may not have been a head-bop album, but i was so impressed by how he brought across his lyrics.

Anyway anyway, i start to rant, lol, and you might not like the album.

But that man is established now and will always have that spark, no matter style he brings out.

27BBDenver - I do agree with what you say. Rainman didn't cross my mind at all! That was a random song, so was Just Lose It, My 1st Single and Big Weenie. I apologise! I think I was meaning that Eminem used to write some really wild shit - fantasizing about killing people, drugs and general controversial material. I first time I listened to it, my jaw dropped because I thought "How the fuck did he get away with that!?" but his music these days seems a little too tame for my liking. I guess I just like obscenity! :snack:
