YO YO ok I just wrote a verse for a collab im doing with this london mc (prince valiant). And although this is not a battle verse, and thus lacks the personal impact, it is effective to target audiences, and is laced with the skills I've been talking about. The thing is I duno how much of it peeps will realise, like bit about hoes/wetness is refering to women getting horney but it is a play on the word hose i.e. garden hosepipe, (I dont expect anyone to get this because it has just started out in manchester, but wet also means blood trickling down your body when you have been shot) anyway, see how much I've wrote about one bar, effective multi-layed meaning is achievable for anyone who feels this is beyond them. If you look at the earlier bars, not only am I saying all this about wet hoes/hose, but there is a theme of water through the word navy, and the word crews doubles as the word cruise as in on a ship, and the dock is where boats come to land, and float is associated with water. Believe me I've put this much effort into every verse on here so I hope this example helps some rappers.
fool who are you we rule with more crews than the navy
making you bitches wet like when we use your ladies
float onto the dock she says slow please cos it hurts me
since then I only ever fuck with greece like turkey
vasaline doesnt work see when you go past six hours
it feels to big and burns her like she on one of one of the twin towers
my big power makes hoes wet like I just turned the tap
the words are outplaying throughtout each verse on this track
and for you crew who dont like us this isnt food for the biters
cos if you chose to write like this its hooks we use to strike-yas
so its certain death like you were glued to snipers
by two weighy guys with punches to bruise like tyson
the mood is lightening with words that follow the thunder
taking fakes in eights like octuposus that swallow you under
sorrow and wonder as you out your depth spinnlin like helicopters
heavy breathing bleeding like you mum when I cherry poped-her
