Diddy, Q-Tip, and Fabolous dressed up as the Beastie Boys for the first performance of the night in honor of the Beastie Boys and then The Beastie Boys took care of business themselves.
MC Lyte
Regina King Came out and talked about how when she was growing up MC Lyte was her idol. and how she was called " The Fake MC Lyte". Performing in honor of MC Lyte, The group of Da Brat, Remmy Ma, and Lil Kim came out and rocked the mic. Now i didn't know who MC Lyte was but she came out at the end of the trio's performance and spit a lil somethin somethin of her own and it was amazing.
Rakim
Next was Rakim's tribute, which was introduced by Common. Performing in Honor of Rakim was Talib Kweli, Raekwon, Styles P, and Black Thought. Rakim then Performed a Brand New Exclusive.
Ice Cube
Long time friend of Ice Cube, Mike Epps came out to Introduce The Legend known as Ice Cube. Xzibit them came out and Tore Up " Check Yo Self" and WC Performed "Today Was A Good Day". Then it was Time for Cube. He came out when the Music hit for "Why We Thugs" and Then Lil Jon joined him to perform "Go 2 Church". The entire group performed Go 2 Church.
Eazy-E
Ice T and Ice Cube came out and Introduced the Eazy-E Tribute. Bone Thugs hit the stage first with their Grammy Award Winning Tribute track " The Crossroads" and then Young Jeezy and Lil Eazy Performed " We Want Ez" and then The entire group of Honerers Performed "Boyz In Tha Hood" The Bone performance was Great. Layzie Came out rockin the Compton Hat and Ez Shades.
This was all i watched for honestly, so I didn't get to see the rest. can someone else please post what happeed on the rest if possible??
