Well, i was in a b"bad kid" school at the time...ECMI...and we were on a trip to somewhere, and it was a long trip so we had newspapers. Everyone knew that i listen to underground shit, mainly proof......and one of my friends said "Oh my god.....Patrick..."and everyone got quite,a nd they gave me the paper....and it said "Deshaun Holten, aka Proof of D12, was shot and killed...." and i swear, i almost cryed......I wasnt old enough to feel anything when pac or big died.....and hip hop is my only thing....i suck at school, everything....all i do is rap and hip hop....and to have one of my favorite mc, if not THE favorite mc, and i got home....i like couldnt do anything, it was like pac, big, proof, bugz n pun all died at the same time to me...well what were yall doin?

I was coming home from the mall and i heard it on 105.9, they were like D12 has lost another member, and i was like what?? why would they drop someone? and then big boy went on to say Proof was shot and killed that day and I couldn't believe it. I was in shock untill i saw it on tv and it hit me..so yeah :'(

i had just wakin up and my little sister was watching TV and she knows how i dont like watching cartoons so she changed it to MTV and MTV news came on and said that Proof was killed and i was just like OMG! This has to be a joke! i coudlnt believe it... i actually cried cuz they were showing these clips of proof and talking about him in D12 and how he was close to Em n all it was sad. watching the clips and realizing that he was gone

at first i thought he joking and then i rushed to a computer lab and searched it and my friend was like, see, man i was in utter shock

I was checking the news and boom... proof had been shot dead. At first i didnt belive it, but then everybody were talking about that incident.
That was sad day...
