I found out after school I signed on to AIM and this radom Eminem fan IM'd me and I had never talked to her before but she said I was on her buddy list because she add's all Eminem fans and then she was like "isn't it sad" I was like "wat?" she said "Proof" and I was like "wat do mean wat's wrongs with Proof" She goes "You don't know" and I'm like "Know wat?" she goes "Proof is dead" and I was like "That's not even something to joke about" and then she was like "I'm not joking go find out for urself" and I was like "if this is a joke it's not funny" and so I came here and saw all of the RIP stuff and I was like ok this has got to be a bad rumor but then I went on MTV.com and there it was that Proof had been shot and killed and I was just OMG.

i was in my "business technology" class surfin tha internet ... (while i was suppost to be doin work). i was on google and i typed in eminem and then there was a german site that i saw that said "r.i.p. proof" i was like wtf ... but i couldnt read that story b/c i cant read german ... so i looked it up on tha net. and it was like proof died. so i went outta class to tha bathroom and called my boyfriend and told him what happened. and he couldnt believe it either.

Well I went on TR in the morning at like 7:30am and saw only one topic about Proof. And it was from not a credible source cause it was like a fansite. I was like nahh fake news, and crap like that.

I went to school, and this kid was like "Proof got shot by another n****!"

Come back home, many topics on Proof.

I was watching MTV, at around 9 or 10 in the morning. They had one of those newsflash things, and it said something like "DeShaun Holton, also known as Proof from the rap group D12 was shot and killed earlier this morning in a Detroit club" along the lines of that. I was like "Oh my God" and my little sister (who was on the computer) asked what happened. I was like "Proof is dead..." But she doesn't know anything about D12 so she didn't seem to care. I just didn't believe it for about a week, until I saw it all over the place.

I was at the school, and I read it at TR! first time a didn't believe it, I thought it's something like when they wrote Hailie is arrested! but I checked a couple other site, and I see everywhere. I was so fuckin sad my friend just looked at me, and can't understand it. I can't even eat, for a while! every friend of mine when they heard it at the news, just called me for say sorry or something but I was so fuckin' drunk. I can't realize it! ONCE AGAIN!! mine is very similar to that... i think i was randomly on the net and i was lookin for eminem wallpapers and i was on this site... probably an eminem fansite forum

but sumone had posted "r.i.p. proof / bizarre" and i was like hmmm yeah ok... kinda thinkin it was fake... but then i went on the eminem forum and i saw it there... googled it etc, and i was liek WHAAAAAT, then i was readin all these articles bout it, and how bizarre was involved as well and i was like WHAAAAAT... but then i found that bizarre wasnt lol

but yeah... i rang my sis and she was like WHAAAAAAT lol

and when my mom came home i told her and she was like "who??" lmao

yeah... i cried a lil while readin those articles

but yeah, i was in "denial" as my best friend sed, cos i couldn't believe that proof was gone... the dude who was wit em all the time on stage etc

man, it sucks
