An insurance company has told 50 Cent it ain't got his back.
The firm, National Fire, says it's not liable for damages in a $10 million lawsuit stemming from a brawl that broke out during a radio interview with his G-Unit posse in Washington, D.C., last year.
DJ Richard "Zxulu" Dunkerson is suing the rapper over the donnybrook, which started when the DJ teased a member of 50 Cent's gang because he was wearing a wireless head set.
DJ Zxulu positioned his fingers in the Star Trek salute and said, "Greetings, my Vulcan brother," said court papers. Zxulu says the G-Unit reacted by beating him up, stealing his phone and releasing a song dissing him and the city of Washington.
The company says 50 Cent took more than a year to inform it of the suit, nullifying his coverage.
