An abstract view.

Why do we have to always divide something into religions, when its obvious that each of these religions where created to appose another? I think I've been haunted by that question every time i hear a one sided/simpleminded religious ideology that makes people look like their unable to form their own opinion.

The point of this thread is: I want people to DISCUSS and abstract point of view, based on rational thinking instead of faith(which is a belief and beliefs are wishes + hopes + fear)

Take a look at a bigger picture.

  • We all see a reasoning to believe there is a reason for life and a sense of abnormal correlation and complexity in everything we see and touch.
  • Evolution IS obvious and it is proven, i feel sorry for people that bluntly deny that our cells have no ability to adopt and that mutation is not a prove for evolution. Hard prove/spiritual belief.. 1:0.
  • We ARE just like animals in every sense we just have too much self pride to admit that, coz truth hurts.

Everything in this world can be determined by mathematics and many mathematicians have tried to solve the creation questions with it, most came up with "infinity".

I think people have rarely stopped to think that god is Us: me, you and the universe. The miracle of life itself is existence, and an infinite loop of creation and destruction. So what stops "god" from being this one entity that expands and implodes(big bang) while being 1, being that only entity that exists?

i think nothing, religion stops people from THINKING, the greatest pleasure and advantage man has got.

Spill your thoughts, i just wanted to get some kind of interesting discussion going.

that's the best part of your post. :8)

the one thing i don't understand is that there are like 2 theories [scientific one and the one with God as the creator of everything] of how the universe was made. i mean if it's proven, that there was the Big Bang, that there are proofs that planets were made because of chemical reactions, interstellar dust and so on, so why some people still try to convince us it's not true? that evolution isn't obvious?

I'll be honest, i might have a biased and a stereotypical view, but most people who don't accept a version of a world that develops itself, are from what i've seen are just very unwilling to learn.

I heard a lecture from a person that studies evolution who linked man to ape on dna level explaining how one evolved into another( i think i even posted it).

some people just ignore what is said and they believe a simpler and conclusion that doesnt involve a need to explain all this.
After all how could they have explained all that 2000 years ago.

or brainwashed, just like Jehovas :8) sorry for saying it, but i came across their leaflet...........................i'll just leave it lol >_>

i'm not speaking about people who just simply umm.. can't understand it, like people who still live in tribes somewhere deep in the jungle, cause they are just unable to see it that way at the moment..

they couldn't, that's obvious. but now, as we explore universe, know how to break down an atom, denying it is just stupid. i really don't know whether God exists or not, but i'm sure science is a pretty credible source of knowledge.
