using google to search forums

i know there is a way but i have forgot and even using google to find this info i cant manage to find it so im asking here, can anyone tell me how to use google to search through a forum/site

or any other way of searching a forum that has disabled its search feature

nah that doesnt work well at all, i know theres a way with a type of code but i dont have the code any longer, simmilar to the way you find mp3s and movies with google

What I do is:

site:domain.com Search Terms

example:

site:trshady.com lose yourself lyrics

so for a forum you could use:

site:forum.trshady.com dmx
