Mods.... i dont see many candidates for mods. I gave c-game the rap battles section coz he did well at organising the tournaments ... etc. which he will also be doing from now on.

I was thinking about this too, and would like to be a vet at least. I've been here a long time, and think I've contributed enough to be a Vet. I would also put my self forward as a candiate for Creative Writing mod, if there's a spot going?

as i said before, mods dont ask to be mods. Whats the point in apointing a mod for the creative section only anyway? There aint nothing to mod there.
I gave Cgame the rap battles and Creative writing, coz seemed to want to organise shit.

As for Vets, i think it would be fair to make a vote for who deserves to be one. The reason u werent on the list as the initial first choice in vets was coz u werent very active at some point u stop posting at all, it simply just didnt cross my mind.

As much as i would like to make all people mods and vets, to be fair and to maintain the status of VET i can only award selected few. but everyone who deserves it will become one sooner or later.

ohh and..

Ill putting some of the mods to be questioned, for inactivity etc.. because this year i wanna take this board a bit further.

That's a good point, because there mods here that have left the board about a year ago.

I was inactive because I was offline, but, i`ve always been pretty active when possible.

i perfectly understand, there are times wen i leave for weeks too. But anyways.. i would appreciate it if i didnt get PM's and requests for mod and vet status.

Vet statuses will be voted upon soon, in the following way...

1) selection of a number of candidates via vote
2) number(not chosen yet but it could be 5-10 max) candidates with most votes will get the nomination.

I could select the vets myself, but i feel the board needs to do the choosing instead.


As for news team... im getting that sorted too. well prolly have an award icon for them too. And i hope if the choices are made right this site could be well updated and have enough news to discuss in organized fashion. (now the news team... i do accept requests, but i need a wee bti of dedication to it, to provide ur own and other members enjoyement of the board)


news doesnt require much work .. fortunately, all u gotta do is check several important sites and copy paste some articles providing the date and the source.

I like the voting idea, it's the way it should be done. but, just one thing, It might mean that a person get's labelled a vet, even though they're not. They might have 2000 posts in the last 2 months and be very popular right now, which is great, but doesn`t the word vet usually get used for long service and loyalty?

I could post some news for ya Asp, if you wanna gimme those sources, because I only find out things after they've been posted here. It's no mean feat to copy and paste, lol.
