^^ He is Ivan.

He was on an episode last week. He Lives in camden which is in NY i think. This kid actually made me feel something, it's a fucked situation.

------------------------------------------------
Ivan Prays for a Superman to Find Him a Home

In a park, the "20/20" team met Ivan Stevens; his mother, Precious; and his little brother, Imere. Sometimes they spent the whole day dirty, hungry and homeless, with no place to go.

The owner of an illegal boarding house occasionally gave them a place to sleep. He padlocked the refrigerator to keep them from taking food, and all three of them slept on one chair, surrounded by clutter and roaches.

Ivan wished he could be Superman and fly on someone's back to find his family a home. "Superman" had also heard of kindergarten.

"I wanna go to school so bad. I wanna read," Ivan said excitedly on the first day of school.

On the way to school, though, reality set in, and Ivan realized that for the first time he'd be without his mother's protection. He was also afraid that the other kids would be mean to him, and he started to cry.

"It's alright.

This is what I'm talking about. People who don't live in America don't usually realize the abuse America puts it's own people through. There's no excuse for a person like Paris Hilton to have EVERYTHING, when others have ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING.

This is why i want to be a journalist. To show Americans and the world what pigs we've all become.

do it.
then interview me

actually a lot of celebs and rich ppl donate money, but they don't brag about it usually cuz that would be stupid. why brag about something that they should do. it would kinda seem like they are looking for attention when they would brag. hey look at me, i donated a million dollars, now go buy my movie. thats just stupid.

and at dani, believe it or not there are rich ppl in just about every country. so there are ppl everywhere that live a lot better than others in their country, it doesn't happen just in the US.

its not a matter of being pigs, its a matter of whether ppl take the opportunity they're given. everybody has a chance at school, but a lot of kids think its cool to not do the work and get an education to get a good paying job. they make everybody else pay for their unemployment checks. we're lead most of the way, but its up to the individual ppl on whether or not they go the rest of the way.

I seen this episode of 20/20. I remember all the stories about all the children living in Camden. And with Ivan, it was pretty sad, everytime they had a house to stay in, they were kicked right out.
