Plus it was amazing to hear Eminems real emotion. "It's Ok" has much more reality feel in it than any song eminem put out after that, coz after that it was just publicity hardships ranting.
Infinite is the most slept on eminem album, to me its > "MMLP" anyday.

raw is a really good way of describing it both in relation to sound and lyrics and technique, after dre everything became so polished - n i do agree with what you said about real emotion, except for maybe a few songs like for instance till i collapse which also carries a great deal of that
it's funny cause i was listening to a few rakim songs today (great surprise, i know) and in many ways infinite reminds me of him, i can't quite put my finger on why yet, but i'll come up with the answer in a couple of hours
i used to think it was really stupid of Em not to re-release infinite but then again it would lose some of it's raw underground feel if it became a part of the commercial circus so now i'm pretty happy that he never re-released it (and hopefully never will)
as to which album's the best it's actually really hard for me to chose since they're all so totally different from each other and each have certain qualities that make them stand out as excellent albums (encore being the exception, still a good album but not excellent, maybe cause he's raised the bar on our expectations so we've become spoiled brats

) but i'm a sucker for old-school hip hop so infinite's pretty high on my list
