You are right to some degree. But i personally dislike the idea of being on a forum full of "obsessed" people, in whatever way u describe it.

If someone wants to express their so called "love" to some star who people wouldnt give a fuck about he wasnt on MTV, they can make a free blog and express-away... 100% if they wish.

A forum full of retarded idolizers with no point of view or anything perspective to express, is not a forum its... (i donno.. i dont know what to call it, but nothing good comes to mind)

And as for the so called impact you mention, its irrelevant, and impact results in actions not a obsession mascaraed.

I'm not going to get into a back and forth with you over whether you're 50x the fan that I am or if I'm 50x the fan that you are. i enjoy his music to, the style, the delivery, the poetry and the rawness of it. I don't "like or dislike" his personal life as a fan- some of his rap is a reflection of his personal life; I simply recognize that and appreciate it on that level.

I don't want to be on that kind of forum either- I think they're generally referred to as "groupie boards." Everyone agreeing how wonderful Eminem is all the time would be mind numbing

I just want to be part of a forum where everyone feels comfortable expressing their opinion no matter what it is.

It's just that some of the replies in this thread seemed to be getting a little personal in attacking the original poster.

Of course, I haven't seen her on this particular thread for a while so why the hell am I still defending her and going on about it?
