now about defending, defeindg a artist or song isnt wrong, but people who defend stuff for no reason are gorupie to me, like eveyrone knows encore wasnt anywere near eminems best and that fack was a big pile of shit, but people defended encore syaing its amazing better than his previous albums and stuff..it isnt eveyrone know sit isnt its a fact it isnt, but coz its eminem people feel as if they cant let him fail..thats the way i see it when someone defends too much..

another thing is i seen people say "loyal to the game" was pacs best album because eminem was crazy on the production, that to me is groupie coz its a fact that nothing created since pac passed away is near his original material, and that me against the world or all eyes on me is 100 times better than loyal to the game, and to the fact that coz production is good doesnt make a album that artists best coz the artist has got to spit sick stuff for it to be his best

hmm... i don't necessarily agree with some of the things you said. like about being interested in nothing but their music. cuz if you think that, then EVERYONE must be groupies. maybe it's cuz i i live in america (i don't know where you're from, your location says buckfast ), but here in america, with all the media and such, there's more to celebrities than their work. there's some info more than others that i don't care about, but with media shows following celebrities' every step... it's hard to just focus on an artist's music or an actor's movie. these shows and tabloid magazines and paparazzi pictures wouldn't do well if the public didn't eat it up. i'm not saying it's justified, but i don't necessarily agree with how people should just admire a person's work, and only that person's work.

is it really that wrong to have posters of your favorite band or somethin? does that make you groupie? i think the only reason why people say that is cuz em made a song about it, mocking having a room full of pictures or getting a tat dedicated to an entertainer. i have posters of em on my wall. and doesn't game have a tattoo of eazy e? i'm not a groupie, and i don't consider game a groupie. personally, i would never get a tattoo of an artist, cuz that's just not my thing, but if some people really feel they were impacted by that specific person, then go for it. i could care less. in d12's how come video, they had posters of NWA on the wall. are they groupies? like with shady ltd, i'ma be real and say if eminem didn't create that brand, i probably wouldn't buy it. yeah, i buy some of his stuff because it has his name on it. i dont' see anything wrong with that. i'm supporting him, and hell, i needed a new sweater, so why not.

and as far as trying to not see an artist fail... i just think some fans tend to be more optimistic than others. if someone says they loved encore, then who are you to tell tham that's not true, or that they're groupies just cuz of one statement? you don't know that person. if they loved it, then hey, more power to them. just shrug and calmly disagree but there's no need for insults. "Encore was great" isn't a sentence that has INSANE written all over it. it's an opinion that not many people agree with. that doesn't make the owner of the opinion crazy.

now a person that has pictures of em's house, and knows his address, and is paranoid of their #1 FAN title being taken away... that's a little weird. because none of that shit makes sense. why would a person need someone's address or a picture of their house? do they plan to stalk him? why do you have to be the #1 fan? do you get some prize out of it or somethin? there's no reasoning behind it.

Umm.. I guess sometimes it helps a lot when you know something about their biography.. To understand some of the songs I mean. But keeping their pics on your pc or looking for their kids' pics or being like "omg what's his pants' color!?" is sick.

Posts like "I hate that bitch Eminem's dating now" or "he deserves someone like me" or shit like that - now that's crossing the line I think.

They're normal people after all, most of them got families and kids and I don't think I'd be pleased if someone kept on posting my kids' pics all over the Internet..

im actually not as crazy as you all think! I might seem a lil crazy in here but actually im a very normal person, i dont even send Em fanmail, never once have i tried! I wouldnt ever go near his house cuz i have 100% respect for the man, i would get a tat of his name down my arm though cuz his lyrics are sooooooo fucking inspiring and touching but besides that thats all i want to do is say Thanks to him someday for what his music has really done in my life! ;-) is that really so bad? and i also think that Encore was not his best album even though i do like a few songs from it, songs that i relate to a lot!

is it a fact? because it's not. a person's liking toward something can't be fact. and the comment about if another artist brought out that album, they'd hate it... that's just assumption. it might be a very good assumption, but that still doesn't make it true.

besides, you can tell sometimes with the internet. if someone says "oMgzzzzz! eNcoRe waz lyk r3aLLy g00d!!!! xoxoxo<3", then you automatically get the groupie vibe. but if i say "i honestly enjoyed encore. there were a lot of songs on there i liked" then isn't that alright? we're basically saying the same thing, just in a different way.

and with the media and such... i mean, yeah, the first thing that draws me into an artist is their work. i didn't pick up an eminem album cuz i heard he was a good father. lol. stuff about his personal life comes after. and it's even more tricky with em (and other artists that use so much of their personal life in their work). but see, now that i think about it, i bet there are people in the world who did pick up one his cd's just cuz they heard something about his personal life. i can imagine someone reading about his life story, and then saying "wow, this kid's interesting. i'ma buy his album." people who use their personal life so much in their work... it's hard to draw the line there, ya know? the media will always be there, no matter how unimportant it seem. and people will always listen.

Theres a difference between Doom and Eminem.

Eminem gets credit over the top and too much of it.
Doom is seeling average just enough to live decent, i help the good rappers that need the hype. And in my head ive never categorized rappers into numbers like whos better then who.

Right now A.D.O.R is the only rapper i listen for example, tommorow its gonna be some other rapper.
