well, my boy went to college so he let me use his mic. problem is it crackles. now terribly, it's not me breathing too heavy either.

it was also pan right :unsure:

i tried to clean it up to see if it worked but just seems like the mic is messed up :sweating:

maybe more expereince guys at mixing n stuff might know :sweating:

it's a Behringer mic, going into a M-Audio Firewire 410 box, to the computer.

i have a behinger b1 mic so from experience i can tell u more or likely your cables broke.Its happend to me like 4 times before cause i used adapters to covert it to mic jack.Then i bought a cable that didnt need adapater and aint had a problem.

np,ill get a link and post in here asap....also the other day while recording i noticed this fucked up thing....the mic made sum crazy hissing and distortion noises. :unsure: It was totally out the blue,I wonder if this is what happening to you,as we have same mic.

I thought water or damp condensation had got into it overnight,but like it went after waiting 10 minutes.

yeah see i don't use a mixer, i just use the mic into the M-Audio FireWire 410 interface.
it's definately my cable tho, the cable going from the bottom of the mic into the interface, because when i move the cable it get less or more crackles depending on where it is. all i really need is a new cable, thanks for the help it's appreciated.

when you go to the shop,ask for stagg.You know its quality then.Oh also gold connectors.If they try giving you anything that needs adapters tell them to shove it,there usless.

yep...i record now in my garage and noticed the static noise shit started since i did.Then i realised i was leaving the mic out and not packing it away.

and thx maybe :worship: its cheap but does me for home recording.

sometimes i leave it set up because im too lazy to keep packing it away but now i put a bag over the actual mic on the stand just to protect it.
