I guess it can... but this is strange a bit... I have a pop filter that I made myself and it's still working and I made it almost a year ago...

I don't know how your pop filter, but can you just replace the "screen"?

yeh it really is strange everyhting is the same and there aint no tairs but i noticed today when i was recording lay overs for my tape that the pops were a bit loud and prominit ( if thats the right word..and spelling :sweating: ) and now i tested it and when i record without the pop filter and with it there is near enough no difference...

witch sucks coz the next 2 weeks i will have virtually no recording time and any i do will be very short and if im goin to get pops i aint goni record lol

i tested earlier on today btw, i was goni post them when my freind came with beers  :p

anywae tomorrow imm test again and move th pop filters space away form the mic ect. to see if it changes :sweating:

it really is a strange thing to happen

and i had this filter six months..and been using frequently since january so if its wore out or somehting im taking it back to the shop :sweating:

pop filters do not loose there capabilities to block pop, ever!

unless there are notible tears or wear i think you've changed the settings somewhere.Maybe the mic recording volume within windows.or maybe something on your mixer. At very worse your mic could be damaged.

yeah true ^^

you should try to rap infront of your pop filter and put your hand behind it... if you don't feel the air, then your pop filter works fine.... if you feel it, then there's a problem lol

hmm.... i never thought bout the mixer i might have touched the settings on it :sweating:

i cant remmeber what the setting were :sweating: i never really mess with the settings since i use my mixer as a external ( i think thats the right word ) soundcard :sweating:

and i blew into it there and i cant feel the air...so i think ive touched the setting or somehting :sweating:

ill sort it out one way or another, ive probly touched the effects on the mixer :sweating:
