Why does doesent the keyboards have the abc's next to each other?

you mean go in order from a-z? it sounds logical for using the "hunt n peck" method. but when typing properly i think its more efficient to have the keys orignized the way they are now.

it's the best combination for typing words. in France for example the Y ans X or something like that are at a different place then here in the Netherlands.

Well i don't know about you but i would find it hard as hell if the keys were in alphabetical order left to right. :)

the way most keyboards are ... are set up as qwerty or sumthin like that.
but yeah some keyboards go from a-z

ehh nah

but my computer applications teacher showed our class a slide show @ the beginning of tha semester with all the different styles of keyboards. and there was one on there that was like that.

but i've never seen one in front of me
