Seriously, you can't actually mean what you're saying? Hasn't Eminem done anything for hiphop?!

He made the game completely explode to be the most popular genre in the world with his new style and comedy-rap! And he made (most) white rappers get accepted. He prove that white people can be just as good, and even better, than alot of black rappers.
I admit, the tracks he release nowadays aren't even close to what he used to do. But seriously, look at Slim Shady LP and Marshall Mathers LP, those records are fucking awesome lyric-wise.
I mean, even my grandmother loves MMLP!

So to say he's done nothing or just a little for the game, is damn silly.
Because he have.

And in my opinion, he's a living legend. And the best rapper ever.

He made the game completely explode to be the most popular genre in the world with his new style and comedy-rap!

And how did that turn out  look at the rap game now, with the millions of listners who dont even know what the fuck hip hop is.

And he made (most) white rappers get accepted. He prove that white people can be just as good, and even better, than alot of black rappers.

3rd base already did that before Em, with the Cactus LP, MC Search(guy from the group) made Nas big, when he let him feature on his single. Ohh wait i forgot, u said Nas sucks before.

So to say he's done nothing or just a little for the game, is damn silly.
Because he have.

So what has he changed in the MUSIC, except for the pop chart, for the whole white gimmick (some of you needa stop watching 8 mile 1000 times in a row)

What he did to the game is comparable to him being the britney spears of rap music.

Introduced new talent? Who? 50 pence, Cashis? Creekwater, Obtrice(that one is actually good)?
If he wanted to do something for hip hop, all selfishness aside, hed sign better rappers, like Royce, Young zee, shit his whole underground click was dope, but he went commercial instead.

I have faith he'll prolly do something more for music as a culture someday, but today, theres still two sides to the story, its hard to decide between both of them.

I know he isn't considered in the top 5, that's why i'm asking this question.. maybe it's cuz he's not a gangster rapper or sumtin.
