Definetly a Legend id say

Postby AJS2050 » Apr 10th, '07, 02:05

If your talking about music as a whole then theres no doubt Eminem is a legend because hes probly the most famous rapper ever maybe just behind will smith if you wanna count him. And Em is the 2nd best selling rapper ever probly be 1st within a year. So you could think of it many ways really. and also eminem has a massive fan base in UK think his had like 7 number one singles out there now. which is incredible...

TruEmFan wrote:for those of you saying em isn't a legend, he's not a legend yet. because like asp said, legend comes within time, so fair enough, few more years must pass until em can really be considered a legend.

but i laugh at you people doubting him. muahahahaha!

seriously tho, the kid has been placed on many top 10 or 20 GROAT lists. so you personally might not accept that he may be legend, but the majority of the hip hop community will think so.

i dont think anyone is doubting him, but right now he isnt and hasnt did anything to legendary in my eyes

I don't think he's doubting him, i think he's saying that he's yet to become a legend in his eyes, that doesn't mean he can't be..

honestly, hes gonna be a legend whether some think he deserves it or not. he was the first white rapper to really make it commercially and was the first hip hop artist to win an oscar. i personally thinks he deserves the recognition but there are several other rappers that are up there with him.

Once again, people judge commercial success not music.

As i said, name me things he did for music that doesnt include the pop chart and his white skin.

The main reason for people being called legends is inspiration, when rappers that MAKE IT will say they were influenced by EM, that will be his golden moment.

I still dont get why people are so concerned about this commercial sucsess hoopla, when in this world to make it anywhere all u need is an image.

oh, so he's saying that he WILL do something legendary in the future, something more legendary than the stuff he's already done?

hey, if you think so...

no i mean he may do somehting legendary like if he brings a new album out forgets about selling the album n makes every track raw as hell pure hip hop

like asp said the sales dont mean nothing

and all eminem does that looks legendary is selling a shit load of songs mostly to pop fans

you tell me what he has did legendary ?

he has had sick albums but he hasnt had a "illmatic" "18th letter" "ready to die" , he aint had a legendary album
