to be honest "Smack That" and even his Encore album were smart business moves. a large majority of his fans are pop listeners and like that retarded shit that he does, so having an album consisting mostly pointless songs is good for album sales when you have that many pop fans listening to your shit. same applies to smack that, pop fans like Akon cuz he's almost kinda down that road. so put Akon's shit and Eminem together and it makes one orgasmic song for the pop listeners.

I agree with you, but that's not completely what I think.. I thought the reason he's doing that is he's lost that sense of hard songs like marshall mathers and stuff.. he's lost that power... or he just doing pop for business moves like you said.

I now it sounds strange to yall but I love what Akon's doin. He can write a love song, a club banger and after that a street anthem. His album is very good to listen cuz there's a lot of different songs, Plus his voice is what I call incredible. Do you like more Justin Timberlake as a part of hiphop than Akon?
I can understand why ladies doin it but what about the guys? He only got a good team of producers and they make what people are exceptin... in the 90's boy bands were cool, and now hiphop is in that position. that's why he makin it. if 2 years later black metal will be cool Justin will drop out an album called "666".
