New Album... Excited?

i'm not really hyped for any album at this point... i don't see why i would get myself hyped over something that might not even happen for quite a long time (watch, em is gonna pull a dr. dre on us and release a record after about 8 years from now )

but if something were to happen... i still wouldn't have any expectations. at least, i'd try not to. it's hard to see where em is going to go from here... everyone's saying he might get all serious and start talking about his personal life again since so much shit has happened... but i wouldn't be so sure. i don't think he's that predictable anymore because he's been gone for so long.

this is crap it is official interscope has already said a A NEW EMINEM ALBUM IN 4TH QUARTER OF 2007 im sick of saying it

also i get really pissed off of seeing everyone in here slagging off encore and eminem show and then calling yourself true eminem fans.

i actually loved both those albums and also his earlier albums they were all amazing in their own right,he just went down different lines to put over different sides to him

if all albums were the same as first 2 you would all be whining that he has lost it his music is boring and all sounds the same so no matter what eminem does your always gonna whinge about it but if they were that bad why you bother buying them and i bet 99% of you still listen to some of the tracks off of them

you all seem to forget that some tracks are designed to be fun piss around /taking the mick with com edy' type tracks for example: rain man/ass like that/fack where as other tracks were serious like 'like toy soldiers' then you have some tracks where eminem went deep inside himself and they were very deep personal songs like: mockingbird / when im gone/no apologies

every eminem track has a different meaning and sound but it seems to me you want all of them to sound exactly the same using same meanings and nothing different.

to me your all 2 faces and hypocrits for 1 minutes saying the tracks are awesome then the next your all slagging them down.

his brand new album will have some amazing tracks and some not so good tracks some fun tracks just like every other album has.

eminem grew up at the time of eminem show he just got a lot of amunition to throw back on his new album thats what makes the difference!

Well, I was hyped after hearing Eminem show, then received a slap to the face by an album not worth even being discussed. To add to the matter, Em made huge consecutive decisions that im really not impressed with, Like: not signing zee after the massive dopeness potential i saw the outsidaz (one of my favourite groups ever) and D12 could produce.

The question to me is weather Em is gonna jump on the 'mo money we run it' bandwagon, or is he gonna maintain it artistic, and no an entermidiate doesnt cut it, hip hop artists aint supposed to do it.

And in response to the all knowing superior Meinem...

Im sorry dude, we are all really sorry, for being able to judge something subjectively, how dare one question superiority of the holy record label and its sacred doctrines of pop music formulated records. My second face led me to sin against Fuhrer Mathers himself, I deemed him as being able to make mistakes and not always delivering cutting edge songs.

Well, Im actually excited about the album, As long as he focuses on his material and try to avoid any corny songs he will do just fine, I just hope that he leaves 50 cent and G-unit out of this album and starts to feature other artists like Rakim and Nas.

hmm.. no, i'm not excited. to be honest, i didn't fully listen to the Re-Up and i think i've grown out of Eminem's music. i'm not sayin i don't like him, it's just that i've discovered loads of other artists who are as good [or maybe even better] as he.

You people say that encore ws trash. But im sure you were bribing the best buy manager to let you in early so you could get the limited edition first copy, people who trash encore are groupies. Part of The album leaked out a year before encore (straight from the lab)was released. With we are americans,love me more. Those were classic songs. Put those two in replace big wenie,rain man, you got a sick album. trash is anything tony yayo or bow wow puts out. Im not a groupie so I dont look at sales. You fans are so fickle and cheap. That is why an album probably hasn't come out from him in 3 +years. Sales are down because nobody buys records anymor they download them.If the albums hot buy it. He even said in vibe with 50 he nervous about realeasin a solo albumg because nobody buy them any more.And he puts his work into ity and efforet and dosent gets paid what he deserves, whats the point. I know he got miliions upon millions, but that dont me shit. thats Like saying a athlete who get lucratives money contracts dont deserve it. They do, they put asses into the seats which equals billions for owners,just like entertainers, you put money on buying a album and it profits the artist marginally and the ownere expenentionally Jimmy iovine got more paper than dre and 50 and em combined . Think if nbody saw kobe play would he get 120 million + contact no. Because the sales of the tickets pay for the contace of bryant. At the end of the day being a mc or artist is like a job. The better you are at it the more you get paid for it. Whty put work effort nights holed up in the studio bustin yuour ass to not get the money you deserve. If you want better albums start buying them daam. Quality should be rewarded.

Ill skip the oppinion on songs, since i myself liked some of the songs on encore but didnt like the album in general.

But wtf is wrong with u people thinking these artists are starving or something?
How fcking hard is it to write a song? hard enough to get paid millions for it? Honestly I'm gonna look forward for this album to see who's gonna be on it. there's gonna be alot of really good features like that T.I. one. And i'm thinking that em and young buck did a track that was cut from buck the world to be put on his. but yeah...
