i kno this was from a long time ago, but what really happened between Royce n Eminem?cuz i heard so many diff. stories .. n was tha How Come song dedicated to him?

I'm too lazy to explain anything about the beef, sorry for that, but what I can say, is that nobody's sure to who How Come was dedicated. maybe to nobody... might be Royce, but maybe they was just having a little find in D12, that's what I thought.

They were on tour together, and Royce did a freestyle cypher with D12, and some members of D12 felt he was dropping some subliminal disses towards them and Eminem. After diagnosing the situation Eminem sided with D12, and agreed with them. Royce always claimed it as bullshit. A further rift was caused when Royce was hopin to get signed with Shady Records, but Eminem was sayin he was too busy right now to be signing anyone, then a few weeks later he signed Obie, and then 50. Royce seen that as a knife in the back, and eventually they brought out diss songs against each other, even though Royce, never really full on attacked Eminem in the songs, him and D12 did go at it.

Wow, nice quote. I`m very surprised that Royce would say Em is a better rapper than him, it's not common for rappers to admit an other rapper is greater than themselves, I've a lot of respect for him in saying that, and he's right Em would not wanna start a battle with Royce, cos that would not be an easy one to win.

And How Come is not about Royce, because I don't think Eminem was friends with Royce growing up, they only met after becoming rappers. And How Come seems to me, that every verse is personal to the specific rapper speaking, I don't think Eminem is talking about the same person Proof is for example.
