That's an exact quote of something you said to me before man, it's a good point, but not neccessarily proof that he can either. Time doesn't equal results, especially when Dre is not tryin to be a top Emcee, he just wants to release a critically accclaimed record that sounds great. He's not trying to be Eminem, but I still bet Eminem wrote all the verses on "Forgot About Dre".
So where's all the Madd [b]Rappers at?

There is nothing in those lyrics that suggest Dre wrote them, except for it's a rhyme about Gats. The multies and flow are far superior to anything else he spits on 2001 or The Chronic. I don't know why you're so sceptical about this Aspirine, it's plainly obvious to most people, heck, when the rumours were goin around about Em ghost-writnig for Dre, the Doc didn't even deny it, he just justified why it would be okay if he was accepting other rappers lyrics as his own.
I could reply with the exact same thing i said in my last post about this(about dre being more motivated to rhyme better with better rappers) but i wont. And i don't think its nessesary to shift credit around when people don't know how it really is.
yeah, to be honest, I don't know why you're so skeptical about this ASP

If you want more proof than the official credits, look on google or something, for interviews... Jay-Z wrote Still D.R.E, he said it in an interview back then, and I remember Nas giving an interview about it, saying that it didn't bother him that much anymore when some rappers used other people's lyrics, and he mentionned Puff Daddy and Dre as examples...
it's in French, but here's the interview
http://www.90bpm.net/interview/nas.htm
and here's what I read on wikipedia:
"As a member of N.W.A., The D.O.C. wrote lyrics for him while he stuck with producing (See D.O.C interview in references for details). When Young went to Death Row, Snoop Dogg took on a lot of the writing work for Dr. Dre, although it should be noted that Dr. Dre has never openly admitted or denied this. More recently, New York rapper Jay-Z ghostwrote lyrics for the 2001 single "Still D.R.E." (He is listed under the songwriting credits as "S. Carter", or Shawn Carter)."

I know wikipedia isn't a reliable source, but they took this information from an interview D.O.C. made...
but by the way, I don't think "ghoswriting" is the right term in this case, cause (I think) it means writing lyrics for someone without getting credit for it... in those case, the "ghostwriters" get credits, so they're not ghostwriters, they're just normal writers...
