im sure everyone knows that he has not been sent to iraq even though his regiment has been sent without him..

anywae this pissed me off, i dont see why he shouldnt be sent, ok it may cause him to be targeted , so is that basically the govermant/queen saying its ok for our(as a country's) brothers, sisters,dads,sons,daughters to die but not for royalties ?

it states in that the roayal family serve in the navy/armed forces/air force and in result of a war they will serve and if they must die for there country, once upon a time the king would lead his country, that was the rules

anyone got views on this ?

if he was never going to be sent out to battle then he should not have been accepted into the army in the first place....

It annoys the fuck outta me, that they had the audacity to refuse to let him go. That's sickenin!

Major props to him though, for havin the balls to fight them on it. About the only royal I have any respect for.

yeh he seemed genuinly pissed about not being allowed to go

i hate all the royals we pay them (well i dont but my mum does) through tax and they do fuck all for us :unsure:

They do nothing for anybody but themselves, they're just glorified landlords. Who in history lived on the misery of others. The Royals in history are responsible for the divide in Ireland.

He shudnt have been sent to iraq cos he might get killed and then if that happens our country won't get over it until like a few years later. And then it will be rly boring news and yeah. He just shudnt. But if he's brave enuf and if he's man enuf and tough enuf and he rly rly wants to, then i guess he can :confusion:

he wanted to go, he sayed in interviews that he really wanted to go but the army and defense poeple wouldnt allow him

and so what if he dies its just the same as our soildiers that are dieing over there

They shouldnt of let him in in the first place, i got respect for him for wanting to go, but i also understand why he cant..
He and his regiment will be in bigger danger, its not just to protect himself but also others who serve there

Royalty serves no purpose other than to symbolize the nation....they can't send a nation's symbol to go get shot at....it tends to look bad if they get killed.

I'm not saying they shouldn't. But that's why they don't.
