Not sure if one of these have been made or already made, but I figured why not? If one of these already exist, or if this violates any rules, feel free to lock it anyone.

Anyway, what are y'all religions and why? I'm Atheist. Here's why.

God is supposed to be forgiving ain't he? Just because people do wrong in life is no reason to send them to a place full of torture. If there truly is a second life, thats a second chance to make up for their sins. But if they're sent to hell because of what God believes is right and wrong, thats like taking away a chance to redeem theirselves. There are all these passages from the bible that gives examples of what we as humans consider inhuman, and this God approves of it all. But when some people do do it, then they are assumed to be heading to hell.

I'm Atheist because I don't want to live in fear of damnation, I'm going to live my life the way I live it. Not the way God would.

i don't believe in god so i'm atheist I still have to pray when I'm forced to go to temples though cause my mommy makes me i find it pointless cause none of that shit you pray for happens I think religion is just a way for you to feel more secure about life

the whole religion thing is just a big scam, kinda like education. think of the leaders like politicians. they just want ur money and control of u. do ur own thing, dont let anyone tell u what u should do

Well, i read the bible, since i had to study it, and since i was curious at a point to know why people believe. But reading the bible as historical document, rather than seeking mysticism in it, definately formed my opinion. I can not believe any religious script, since they contradict themselves on so many ocasions. Plus christians live a life of brainwashing themselves, I find that scary and immoral.

If god is a supreme being and he/she/it does exist in a forum of a conscious super-human being, im pretty confident that it would be smarter than making its people live a life by a book. If god is some kind of conservative that is anything like the morons on this planet, fuck it send me to hell.

Another thing is that in the bible some things are metaphoric and people take it seriously. Or mistaken the reference. Like the book of "Revelations', any historian can point out to you that the whole Antichrist and 666 thing is more relevant to the older kingdoms that existed, especial nero's Rome, because he perscuted christian, and i think it supposingly John(correct me if im wrong) who wrote the revelations while being exile on some island, if u read that book from a point of view of a persecuted christian in exile, ull see the book as message to uprise agains the Roman empire.

There many things that indicate creativity that is limited by the period in time. Why do supreme beings and enlightened individuals come down from heaven on chariots, not just something else? Because thats how far imagination of a person in that time would take it. In this era, we have people believing that the alien gods come down from heaven on spaceships.



All i gotta say is, u cant really be a believer if ur afraid to try and prove urself wrong, just to make sure, thats called ignorance. If you can in all honesty read any bible not a religious script, searching for clues, but like historic document with a big book of history next to u, and trying to find out the history of religions and still believe, ill say u have iron faith. But i personally believe theres no such person.

I don't like churches and shit, but I believe in God. I think everyone got an own God. We can't define it, as many person as many views about it. No1 can live a "holy life". To me it's just means, "don't start no beef without no reason", and "try help other people if you can". But the most important thing is just "live and let live". I think it's a way better view than when jews and muslims killin each other just beacuse they have different religions.

Christian and proud. I go to church (Baptist). I study the Bible (forreligious and education purposes).
I love knowing that I know that I know...
