looks awesome, i loved the first 3 and i doubted stallone would pull of a half decent rocky 6 but he did, so i aint gonni doubt that he can pull of another half decent rambo

Have you seen "First Blood", that's a great action film man, much better than the two rambo films that followed, not just for the action, good story, acting and characters.

come on man, the story and emotion in that film was great, ok the boxing scene was sorta weird with a 60 year old and same goes for the training, but really rocky has never truely been about the boxing its the character and the struggle, the story of a old man with nothing left, his wife dead, his family falling apart all he has is his pride of when he was a great champion, the anger of everything he had did and lost building up so one last time he needs to get his anger out and prove he didnt do it all for nothing...great story, the boxing wasnt near any of the previous rocky's but as for the story/acting/emotion it was up with rocky 1 2 and 3 , witch to me were the most complex/best rockies when it came to story line, 4 + 5 were just quick story's with boxing/training

Rocky one was a great story, and a new concept to Hollywood movies, the hero not winning in the end, but in defeat was the glory of taking the champion all the way, and not getting your ass kicked. That was the triumph! It's a great idea, and Sly deserved his oscar for the screenplay. However, I wouldn't agree Bar that the stories were complex, that's a bit of an exaggeration, and about movie 6 not being as good as the last ones in terms of action, is a bit of a laugh. Because the rocky fims never had good realistic boxing scenes. In "real" boxing you don't block punches with your jaw!

My advice is, see a real film, with awesome boxing scenes, Michael Scorsese's "Raging Bull", with Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci, it's a masterpiece, and that's not an exaggeration.

I love it, if it's done well, and when the hero is the reluctant hero, which Rambo always was.

Wow, didn't know they're actually DOING a Rambo 4, just heard rumors about it.
Stallone is still one of the greatest, love First Blood 1 & 2.
