Ummm can someone tell me are these 2 series really koool??
coz in da animated sitcom scene da four names that pop up are simpsons , Southpark , futurama & Family Guy

since im a huge fan of SP & simpsons will it apply that i will enjoy da other 2 seasons as well??

Witty humor, simpsons like animation, but more slick and a good selection of characters and the plot is ever expandable. Its a shame they canceled it after season five.


Family guy is rediculously stupid, its like a clone of the simpsnons but with those idiot flashbacks that dont relate to the plot. And humor is for the likes of ... umm simple minded people, just spun off parodies of media. Futurama had complete storylined and well fit humor.

actually they only started really doing the flash back shit when they came back on the air, hence why i never watch that show anymore, but the first three seasons kick ass, and futrrama (sp) is sick too i got all four volumes on dvd, better than simpsons, and they shouldn't have canceled the damn show

Futurama is really really great, good plots, good characters, it's just generally good to watch.

Family Guy is incredibly random, and it's similarities to the Simpsons are creepy.
I mean you have
Fat father
Sort of hot/Always cooking housewife
Lazy fat son
Unpopular girl
Only differences are the baby and the dog.

Sometimes though it can be funny, but it's randomness sort of ruins it.

Futurama is ok, its better than the simpsons in my opinion.
i really enjoy Family Guy. the "randomness", as you people call it, is wut i enjoy.

but you should look into both of'em, you might enjoy them.

futurama is awsome.. i watch it everynight 10:30 on Cartoon Network, Family Guy was funny when I first started to watch it, but it gets so old after a while
