I know swifty is good, bizarre is weird and kuniva and Kon Artis aren't bad either. But, they're not interesting enough for me on their own. If you think they are maybe you're the fuckin D12 groupie, idiot.
i have to be 100% honest with you when this album first was talked about (proof still alive) they said they was gunna go for it without em. and that intrested me i thought they could pull it off and would show them as a great group on there own feet. but now proof is dead its lke im not really sure im looking foward to the album with or without em in it because proof always has seemed the flame that was keeping d12 d12 and im sure the group would tell u that to. but at the CURRENT stage eminem is at minus proof that leaves 3 pretty dope (when they put there all in) rappers and bizzare can be decent attimes. but idk its like a jigsaw with 2 peices missing the tracks seem unfinished without proof in once you know the whole foundation d12 was built on (One shot 2 shot, dont hate ft king gordy(new song)). and they have been missing ems creativeness for like 2 3 years now. Itss a pretty big double blow ad itd suprise me if they can carry a album themselves.
Yeah, good post man, everything you said makes sense. I remember it rumoured as an album without Eminem, but I wasn't a fan of that Idea, even though what you say is true about them finding their feet without Eminem, it would be cool to see. That idea would've probably worked with Proof, but without Eminem and Proof, it seems very unlikely. It would be very underground, and wouldn't sell very well, not that matters, but I bet it does to D12. They need Eminems fanbase to buy it for it to be a hit, but I also think they need Eminems songwriting skills to make it a good album. Swifty has a sick flow, and is a lyrically adept rapper, Bizarre has one of the coolest voices in hip-hop and one of the sickest minds, but lacks lyrical flair. Kon Artis is now an accomplished producer who has a pretty unique voice, and got some nice lyrical skills. Kuniva always seems to fade into obscurity on the albums, he just doesn't stand out enough, like the others. So there's Swifty, who's well worth a listen, Bizarre too, depending on your taste in hip-hop, Kon artis providing the dope beats and some nice verses, and Kuniva possibly getting some more limelight than usual (which would be good for him). I think it could work actually, but dunno if it would be given the go ahead without Eminem. I hope it would if Eminem is not gonna appear on it, but if it means waiting a while to have Eminem collaborate on the album, that my choice of how this should pan out.
