Anyone here since 2005 and has 1/2000 plus posts should be automatically made a vet, a vet should be somebody who's been here a long time and is still active. Members should be acknowledged for their loyalty and contribution to the site.

Well we tried the post number and the join date the first time, all those vets are now not active.

So we switched to people choosing the vets, i think influence on the forum and contribution is the only way to judge. Too many vets would just devalue the vet-status.

The next vet nominations will be when we get the board setup settled with.

Thats very true too, maybe the answer would be another title just between normal "member" and "Vet". Maybe "Patriot" or something.

uhh..remove the vets that arent active anymore and replace them.

I think, Vets should be people who help the site more rather than active ones, cause to be honest anyone could be active but are their posts of quality?

They wont be removed, since those people were once very valuable to the forum, and basically built it the way it is.


And no vets are NEVER gonna be determined just by postcount or date of registration.
