Eminems voice

Postby warplayer » Jul 4th, '07, 20:39

i know that when people age their voice changes slightly but ever since the new singles from curtain call eminems voice sounds very different and it seems like he tends to sort of shout his raps and uses a different/raspier tone of voice, and as many of you may agree with me he has started to fall off ever since that album, what do u guys think cause his voice to change??

I think his voice sounds different cuz he switched his game..He raps now like a black rapper, instead of using that funny laid back voice , he used to have back in the day.

well it went

- young squeaky-ish MC fooling around typa voice (SSLP some of the MMLP)

- older more mature voice, witch probly came from expeirence in delivery (MMLP, Eminem show, Encore , RE UP)

*note he still goes to a sorta different style of the older voice when doin certain types of track*

- now he is tryna give himself a south twang, that 90% of south artists have coz there fomr the south and thats just how it is (touchdown track, pistol poppin track)

witch one are you talking about ?

I think he's just trying to fit in with the black rappers

Which i don't understand because many already accept him for his skill without him doing this

The first notable change is from Infinite to The SLim Shady L.p. On Infinite he hasn't any real confidence in his delivery or his voice, or if he does he doesn't inject emotion into the lyrics. On The Slim Shady L.P his delivery is much better, but his voice is slightly higher. On The MMLP and The Eminem Show, his voice has improved a lot, and he has found a more manly voice. I don't think his voice has changed since then, it's just him messing around with southern slang and other styles, on "Ass Like That", "Fack", "Smack That" and "Touch Down". On most of the tracks on Encore, and on other newer ones like "The Most Shady", "There They Go", "You Don't Know", "Public Enemy" and "No Apologies" his voice is fine. So we won't know the answer to a question like this until we hear a full album of new songs. i`m sure he'll still do some tracks with the weird styles and voices that a lot of people don't like.

P.s I can't believe people actually think he's doing the southern slang to actually be like them, it's just his funny way of dong things, it's just a joke, he's not tryin' to actually be T.I.
